Solar System clock (JPL mean elements)
Positions from JPL's Keplerian mean elements (1800–2050 table, arcminute accuracy); the Moon is a circular approximation.
Scale balance (a map projection, not physics)
Within a system, distances from the host follow d′ = d₀·(d/d₀)^γ (order and direction kept; the innermost orbit stays put) and radii r′ = r_ref^(1−β)·r^β, capped so no body reaches a neighbour's orbit. The scale bar says when the view is compressed; labels show each body's size exaggeration.
Compressed sky: many systems in one window
Star distances from the Sun follow d′ = 1 pc·(d/1 pc)^γ (order and direction kept), and each system, Solar System included, is magnified by one factor so that its outer orbit fills part of the gap to its nearest neighbour. The planets inside still obey the two knobs above. Labels show the total exaggeration.
